Musical Moments with Tracey Gregory

Tracey here and today I am excited to share with you my first DT project using Leaky Shed Studio chipboard!

My simple pleasure is singing in the car. I have an awful singing voice but,oh,how I love to sing loud and strong anyway. Fortunately, God graced me with a child that sings like an angel and together we belt out Broadway and Disney songs as we make our way down the road.

I am so impressed with the weight and quality of details to these chippies. I put them through a lot of heat and mediums and they held up perfectly.

I used Wow! copper embossing powder and rubbed patina Rub n' Buff all over. I then added Ranger's crackle medium for some extra texture.

For the larger note chippies, first I colored them with blue and green gelatos. Then I rubbed in gold gelato and misted with Heidi Swapp and Lindy's Stamp Gang mists.

I made all the sheet music flowers on the page. I used the new Marion Smith Bloom tool and was inspired by this tute for the ruffled flowers. I punched leaves from a printed word strip  and colored them with gelatos. See my tutorial on the small blooms here.
