Christmas Tree Outdoor Layout

Hi Everyone!  It's Robbie today, sharing an outdoor layout that I did with the Leaky Shed Studio Christmas Tree.  I love this Christmas Tree, but I chose to use it on this layout of our sweet puppy Bella.  She loves the freedom of being outside and running around.  You can't see the butterflies in the photo, but she was having a ball trying to catch them.

I thought about leaving the tree alone and having it being craft colored, but decided that I wanted it to stand out more. I inked it dark brown  and then misted it to make it darker and added a few little pearls for added detail.

I chose a copper colored mist to go with the metal shaped frame that I added to the top. I used a foam dot to add the little bird to finish it off.

I added the floss to frame the layout and the picture.  Instead of stitching every stitch, which would take a long time, I did it the quick way.  I just stitched at each corner and then pulled the floss across the page.

Supplies: Leaky Shed Studio Christmas Tree
Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink
Glimmer Mist
