BoBunny and Leaky Shed Studio SWAP - December Wonderland

Veronica here today and I am wrapping up our SWAP with BoBunny!  I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and thank you for playing along with our Product Swap.  Today I am sharing an album I made to document my December 2014 memories.

I used the Leaky Shed Studio Number Album and also the Scroll Frame Ornament.  I added the BoBunny Christmas Collage Collection.

I painted my Scroll Ornament then I added some BoBunny gold glitter paste on the "numbers" of my album which comes in two parts.

I painted the chipboard album turquoise then added the BoBunny Christmas Collage "stamp/music" paper to the cover.  The "number" chipboard piece was adhered on top

For my third layer embellishment I used the Leaky Shed Studio 12 Month calendar chipboard.  I dipped the month "December" in green glitter.

Say Cheese with Veronica Johnson

Hi Veronica here today to share with you my project.  I have been in a Disney mood for a while and finally got the opportunity to get some scrapbook time.  I love making mini albums and this Leaky Shed Studio Camera Album was perfect for what I had in mind.  How many of you have been to Disneyland?  How many photos do you take?  I am sure its a lot, so next time think about using this fun Leaky Shed Studio Camera album.

Here at Leaky Shed Studio the design team uses many different techniques to glam up our chipboard; but sometimes, its OK to just cover the chipboard with pretty pattern paper.  That is what I did with my mini today because the shape of the album itself was enough.

Here are some of the steps I took in preparing and creating my album:

Using the chipboard album as my template I cut out the pattern paper I wanted to use

I added some glossy accents to the "camera lens" to make it stand out

Next I prepared my Mouse Balloon Border by painting it gold, then adding glossy accents

My final step was to start embellishing my album with punch outs of Mickey ears, Mickey name, some red and yellow

and the result .....

Thank you for stopping by today and try a Leaky Shed Studio.

LSS Dragonfly Dream by Veronica and Altered Pages Designer, Lyneen Jesse

Hi Veronica here today to share with you my latest album.  This whole month Leaky Shed Studio has been partnering with Altered Pages.  Our theme for the partnership was "FLIES".  This is what I did with the dragonfly kit that Altered Pages sent me.

In my Altered Pages kit I received the transparency and printed dragonfly you see below.  I also received the cool fibers and also the faux navy blue leather specialty paper.

I used the Leaky Shed watch parts as my tabs to turn the pages in my album

I also used the Iron Leaf corner chipboard which I LOVE.  I thought it went perfectly with the theme of my album.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Do go over to the Altered Pages Blog, my album is also being featured there today.  This was a great partnership and I enjoyed blending both my Leaky Shed Studio chipboard shapes and the ephemera from Altered Pages.

Once Upon A Time in Paris Mini Album with Veronica

Hi, my turn to share and today I would like to show you my latest mini album.  I have made several of these because they are fairly easy to create and make GREAT gifts.  This one is a Paris theme inspired by my girl friend's trip to France.

I used the Leaky Shed Studio Victorian Mirror Frame.  It is so beautiful and detailed, I thought it made the perfect center piece for my album.

I misted the chipboard with Art Anthology colorations sprays in blues and greens.

Then I rubbed some metallic olive over the entire frame.

As a highlight I finished the frame with gold metallic rub-on;  just in the corners

I also decided to add this beautiful Harja Flourish to my mini album.  On this piece of beautiful Leaky Shed Studio chipboard I decided to go with a different technique.

My process:

 Light Gesso:

Paint with H20 very thick, not much water

Emboss with clear powder

I love the way chipboard looks with embossing powder on it.

This part is optional.  I used it because the rub-ons were already out.  I rubbed some metallic gold on the sides for depth.

Now that I have finished my Harja Flourish I can add it to my mini.  You can see the finished inside of my album on my blog Kitsnbitscraps.

I hope I have inspired you to try out some Leaky Shed Studio chipboard.  There are so many themes and shapes.  I especially liked using this beautiful Frame for my Paris Book.  See you soon.

Happy Scrapping, Veronica (Kitsnbitscraps)
