Glitz and Grunge Chipboard with Tracey Sabella

Hi everyone, it's Tracey here to share a mixed media, wedding layout with you featuring Leaky Shed Studio Chipboard.

I have four very special young women in my life, our four daughters. We had three girls then Joseph brought Rachel into our lives. This photo is from their wedding day with Rachel surrounded by her new sisters. We are so blessed by each of our girls.

"Our Girls"
I've used the Once Upon A...Sketch October sketch and journaling theme for inspiration. For more details you can stop by their blog HERE.

Tips and Techniques
I cut the Leaky Shed Studio Swirl Vine Corner in half, then painted it with Viva white Crackle Paint. When dry I dabbed with metallic teal paint and scattered on blue microbeads. It was a winter wedding, so I've included Leaky Shed Studio's Snowflakes. They are painted white and sprinkled with Twinkle Dust Glitter in Sugar Shimmer.

The flowers are dry brushed with teal paint and white gesso, while the background is splattered with more of the teal paint. The grey flower has microbeads adhered as well. I've tucked jewelry pieces and buttons here and there around the cluster.

Here's a side view.

The title is cut with my Silhouette Cameo. This Circle Arch Doily framing my photo is heat embossed with Fran-tage Shabby White embossing enamel.

The background is stenciled with the Tim Holtz Lattice Work Layering Stencil, painted, then dry brushed with gesso.

I hope you've been inspired to glitz and grunge
Leaky Shed Studio Chipboard for your next project!
