Alice in Wonderland--an altered book

Have you seen the new Alice themed chips from Leaky Shed Studio?  I've been working on an altered book using them . . .

"Oh my ears and whiskers, how late it's getting!"

the pocket watch image is a pop-up
The cover of the book features a niche filled with Alice related items, surrounded by the beautiful Leaky Shed Victorian Mirror Frame (link):

There are a few more details and pics on my blog (link), and I'll be sharing more layouts as the book progresses--have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

  1. This is a wonderful spread - love the Leaky Shed wood embellishments - and the background coloring is terrific! Looking forward to more!

    1. Thank you, Tristan!
They're actually chipboard pieces, but let me tell you, they stand up almost as well as wood--I'm pretty hard on them paint and distress wise, and they've withstood my abuse every time!

    1. Me, too--I remember my mom reading it to me, maybe that's why it's one of my favorites!
